Friday May 15, 2026 | Doors 8pm | The Little Red Door, 182 Hindley St, Adelaide | $20 on the door | Limited capacity
Adelaide, SA — LRD Sessions is back. The first edition in March packed Little Red Door out and proved there’s a real appetite for a locals-only drum and bass night in an intimate room on Hindley Street. If you missed it, you already know. If you were there, you know why they’re doing it again.
Session II doubles down with a bigger lineup: Amorositie, Vilen, Bakup, Weez, and Frontbar on the decks, with Pase on MC duties. Vilen and Bakup return from the original lineup while Amorositie, Weez, and Frontbar are new additions — widening the net across Adelaide’s drum and bass community.
Amorositie — Katie Morrison — is one of Adelaide’s most active DJs right now. Founder of the Wickid Lickwid event series and host of The Ones and Twos on Fresh 92.7, she channels dark DnB, rollers, and deep liquid into sets that have earned her spots on bills alongside international acts including QZB, Charli Brix, Mystic State, and Wingz in recent months alone. She’s been on Doof Techno lineups too — versatile enough to move between scenes without losing her identity.
Vilen and Bakup were both on the first LRD Sessions bill — the core of what made that night work. They know the room, they know the crowd, and they know what this series is about. Bringing them back for round two keeps the continuity while the expanded lineup adds new energy.
Weez and Frontbar are fresh faces on the LRD Sessions lineup, and Pase on the mic adds another layer — his MC work on the QZB + Charli Brix Easter Sunday event showed he knows how to lift a room without overpowering the music.
The format hasn’t changed: $20 on the door, no presales, no tiers. Show up, pay, get in. But capacity at Little Red Door is genuinely limited, and the first session filled fast. The organisers aren’t saying that for effect — the room is small and it will hit the cap.
LRD Sessions is doing something straightforward that shouldn’t be as rare as it is: putting Adelaide’s local drum and bass DJs front and centre in a proper venue with a proper system, no international headliner required. The lineup is the community. The draw is the night itself.
