Adelaide, SA — Another sold-out show behind them, Doof Techno keeps the momentum rolling with Koda from Argentina headlining at Ancient World on Friday, September 11. Dark minimal. Psytech. Juan Pablo Aliaga, known as Koda, is a producer and DJ from Mendoza, Argentina. His releases span Techgnosis, Subios, Alula Tunes, AlpaKa, and other labels at the intersection of minimal and psy techno — genres he fuses into something deep, emotional, and introspective. His sound combines melodic and dark elements in a way that invites an inward journey rather than a fist-pumping peak-time assault. He’s performed across Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand, and the crew describe him as a favourite artist among the regular Doof Techno tribe. For a crowd that values sonic depth over spectacle, that’s high praise.
The label roster tells you where Koda sits in the global landscape.
