Adelaide, SA — [For immediate release] — Two of Adelaide’s most respected underground electronic music collectives are joining forces for a landmark one-night-only event during Fringe season. Bassline Market and Simply Techno will present EastBlock Grooves on Friday, March 13, 2026 at The Austral’s Bent Street Laneway on Rundle Street, from 6pm to midnight. Entry is free.
Part of The Austral Laneway Series, EastBlock Grooves is a celebration of the deeper, more nuanced sides of house and techno. The event features an all-femme lineup of selectors curating six hours of euphoric, groove-led sounds in an intimate open-air setting in the heart of Adelaide’s cultural precinct.
The collaboration represents a meeting of complementary visions. Bassline Market has built a reputation for cultivating inclusive dancefloor experiences rooted in quality music and community, while Simply Techno has been a driving force in Adelaide’s techno scene.
