April 5, 2026 (Easter Sunday) | 4pm–2am | Mala Mia, 268 Morphett St, Adelaide | Tickets from $39 | 18+ | WILD Sound System
Adelaide, SA — [For immediate release] — Three of Adelaide’s most dedicated drum and bass collectives — AirDNB, The Manager’s Office (TMO) and Wickid Lickwid — have joined forces for a 10-hour Easter Sunday session at Mala Mia on Morphett Street. QZB (Switzerland) and Charli Brix (UK) headline, backed by 15+ local selectors and MCs, with WILD Sound System on audio. Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 4pm to 2am. Tickets via Ticket Fairy.
This is a proper day-to-night event — afternoon sun into small hours, open-air beer garden into main dancefloor, liquid rollers into darker cuts. The kind of run that justifies clearing your Easter Monday entirely.
QZB — the Basel-based duo of QBig and Zenith B — are signed to Critical Music, the label that’s set the benchmark for forward-thinking drum and bass production for the better part of two decades. Active since 2012, their sound pulls from hip hop, breaks, Italodisco and jazz but lands as something entirely its own: clinical, precise, and emotionally charged. Their discography spans Critical, Flexout Audio, Shogun Audio, Demand Records and Invisible Recordings, with key tracks including Analog, Rising Sun, Take It All, Kintsugi, and City On Lock. Their most recent release, Cope / Satellite, dropped on Critical in December 2025. They’ve headlined sold-out clubs and festival stages across Europe.
Charli Brix is performing a DJ/Vocalist set — a live hybrid format that combines soulful, emotive vocal performance with DJ selections ranging from deep liquid to minimal and dark. South London-born and Bristol-based, she’s one of the most in-demand vocalists in drum and bass, with releases on virtually every major label in the genre: Critical Music, Innerground, Shogun Audio, Spearhead, Symmetry, Flexout Audio, and more. Her collaborators read like a who’s who — Break, Lenzman, DRS, QZB, Enei, Hugh Hardie, Marky, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, and Coki. Her debut album The Art of Change landed on Flexout Audio in 2023, and she holds multiple DNBA Award nominations for Best Vocalist with regular support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music.
The support lineup runs deep: DJs Amorositie, Patch, Rusha, SNOWH!TE, BROOKIE, Qzyphus, Batch, Zealous, Syntax, Brighteyed, Zandr, and Lottie B, with MCs Pab, Ess Bee, Pase, and G-Swift on the mic.
Mala Mia — formerly Lotus Lounge / Little Havana at 268 Morphett St — is a smart pick for this. The venue has an expanded beer garden that runs front to back under full roof cover, with the ability to open the doors and extend the dancefloor into open air. That configuration suits a 4pm start on Easter Sunday perfectly — catch the last of the autumn daylight outside, then move inside as the night deepens and the music gets heavier.
AirDNB has form for this kind of booking. They’ve brought Bailey (Metalheadz), Roni Size, Visages, LSB & DRS, and others to Adelaide in recent years, and their events consistently sell out on limited capacity. Teaming up with TMO and Wickid Lickwid for this one means three crews’ worth of audience, three crews’ worth of local talent, and a 10-hour programme that covers every corner of the genre.
Capacity is strictly limited. Presale is strongly advised — the double bundle earlybird ($39 for two tickets) is almost gone.
